I keep my eye out for people doing good things around digital mediums, community and spiritual development. It’s something many of us feel has so much more potential. That when the empowering tools of social media, location awareness, and high technology can hit the natural behaviors of the faithful we can see so much good and love come into the world.

The one area that A LOT of different groups are working on right now is prayer. The most universally and globally acceptable spiritual practice in the world - also the most unifying - has yet to see a platform developed that takes it to the next level.

Of the one’s I’ve seen the one with the most promise and passion behind it is certainly PrayerDonor.org. It’s focused on simply helping you pray for those in your city, and request prayer from people in your context. I love the focus on the city instead of the 5013c - cause the church isn’t a non-profit organization, it’s empowered people in compassionate community.
