About
I am on a journey discovering how technology, the social web, and the “flattening of the world” is effecting everyday life, faith, media and the way we seek to do good in the world. My aim on this blog is to share what I am learning and stir conversations around these topics so we can partner to make a difference together.
Who is Tony?
I am the Online Community Pastor with the Church Online team at LifeChurch.tv. I am passionate about collaborating with people looking to make a difference for good in the world leveraging technology, the social web, and our collective creativity. I am also a student of how the digital age is changing the way we work, live and connect in the human experience.
I love reading, spending time with my family, and I am an avid tinkerer of technology, productivity and the processes of creativity.
My Story:
I grew up where religion and conservatism were a part of the unquestioned culture and way of life. A lot of my story has been based on my pursuit to build enough velocity to break free from those assumptions. I am a person of faith in Jesus because I believe Jesus told the truth and his love has changed my life. (And I love hearing about the things that have changed people’s lives, so hit me up if you have something to share. Here is more about my Religious Experience.)
I studied in college to work in ministry and my career has centered in that profession. This is mainly because I continue to see the message of Jesus change lives. I’ve worked at Young Life, a small church as a student pastor, I volunteered and worked with Saddleback Church and am now thrilled to work at LifeChurch.tv as a part of their Digerati team and Digital Mission initiatives.
